Prairie Smoke Silver

My name is Jamie and I’m the one behind the bench! I grew up in Central Montana and lived there up until I met my husband Dakota and moved to the Northeastern corner of the state. Now we have our own little slice of heaven that ties into his family’s multi generational ranch where we raise black angus cattle along with raising and training registered quarter horses! Spring and Summer brings baby foals and calves, the dust of the branding pen, horse sales, and ranch rodeos. And as the seasons change, fall becomes winter and with the wind brings chilly shipping days on cold backed colts, long nights at the arena starting the next string of horses, and waiting for spring to bring the rain. Through the chaotic romance of this life God has blessed me with, I get to sneak away to my little office and create and let my mind run wild at the bench. I’ve always been completely obsessed with turquoise and silver jewelry (because what girl isn’t) and I wanted to turn my obsession into one of my many passions! My goal is to build sturdy, unique jewelry out of quality materials with the ranching lifestyle in mind. Jewelry that can be worn through the dirt and dust of the day or for a night out to supper with your handsome cowboy. I want to make pieces that make you feel pretty without any makeup on.
